Embodiment Series
Self-care for everyday life
through our senses
ABOUT THE CLASS

You consciously and unconsciously use your senses—touch, sight, sound, smell, taste, and proprioception—to experience the world around you. In this series, we’ll shine a light on another sense often overlooked: interoception.
Interoception is the ability to track and feel what’s happening inside your body. It plays a crucial role in your overall sense of well-being, self-regulation, and emotional experiences. This sense allows you to perceive everyday sensations, from hunger and thirst to anxiety and joy. We use our senses not only to orient ourselves to the world around us, but also to attune to and attend to our internal world—our interoception and our state of mind.
The intention for each class is to create a playful and transformative space through the senses, helping you deepen your embodied experience and build practical self-care skills for everyday life. There will be movement, mindfulness invitations, time for self-reflection, and take home practices.
All are welcome—no prior experience is necessary. This series is for anyone open and curious to connect with their body and senses in various ways, and interested in developing tools for embodiment.
Although the classes will build off of one another, feel free to join one or all of them.
